The Bend Film Festival is an annual independent cinema event that showcases over 100 professional and student films, including features, documentaries, and shorts. Recognized as an Academy-qualifying festival for select short film categories, it features screenings, panels, and parties across local venues.
Heartland Film Festival
Voted a top film festival, including ranking #1 in the USA TODAY 10 BEST Readers' Choice Awards, the Heartland Film Festival is an 11-day independent film event held every October in Indianapolis, Indiana. Run by the nonprofit organization Heartland Film, it showcases over 200 films, hosts red carpet premieres and filmmaker Q&As, and awards tens of thousands of dollars in cash prizes for movies that do more than just entertain.
Wilmington International Film Festival
The Wilmington International Film Festival is a multi-day cultural event in Wilmington, Delaware, that celebrates independent global cinema, local art, live music, and international food. Spearheaded by filmmaker Gordon DelGiorno, the festival features dozens of international and regional films, networking events, and student scholarship opportunities.
